    “I’d just like to say I hate this stereotype. I’m a stripper and I’m literate and intelligent. Most of the women I work with are legal, psych and medical students who are fiercely educated and above average IQ by a large margin. “

Is she doing it right?

How would I know? I don’t know her story. Pornography, stripping and other forms of sex work are often side jobs. There is no one way of ‘doing it right’.  Would you ask the same question and would that picture have been made if she worked at Wallmart? If she was in a traineeships? If the above pictures where more ‘artistic’? Probably not. It’s just ignorance and discrimination against the sex industry and it’s workers as per usual.
How do you know that women is not a lawyer or computer engineer; or on her way to being one? How do you know if she is just put her study on hold for a while to pursue other interests or take a break? Maybe this pornography was to fund her studies, which are likely very expensive.
Maybe computer science and law wasn’t for her. Maybe she decided to be a home maker instead. Maybe a chef.  Maybe she decided she wants to express her sexuality and get paid for it and became a full time porn star.
To all of the above: Who knows, and more importantly, who cares? Why is it your buisness? Why make presumptions about why people do what they do? And most importantly of all;
Why do you see yourself fit to JUDGE a person for their choices?
Why try and mock, shame and cause grief to someone for doing a job you probably participate in? Don’t you think it’s a bit hypocritical? Over 80% of men (most of them between 18-40) in the USA admit to watching porn. Most people start watching porn in the USA age 11, so that number is probably higher as it doesn’t include those under 18. Chances are you’ve watched porn at least once. Without women such as the woman in the macro there would be no enjoyment for you. And yet; you choose to use and abuse. There is nothing wrong with working in the sex industry as long as it’s safe, sane, over age and consensual.  You sound pretty ignorant, and I don’t expect your opinions to change.  I see from you’re tumblr you are either an idiot, a religious wingnut or just a troll- so don’t bother writing back. You will probably remain bigoted and uneducated about sex work and hold onto outdated, incorrect and non-factual stereotypes about sex workers. You probably don’t respect women at all; let alone sex workers, but I’m going to post this to make an example of you to my followers.
