If a guy says he’s in the “friend zone,” idk but maybe, just maybe he’s not asserting that the woman owes him a physical relationship (nor trying to take away her “right to say no.”)…but maybe he just….has….a….crush on her…………..uh..

It could happen. But the general attitude is “Well, she’s with the wrong guy/making the wrong choice/why can’t she see I am the right one for her?”
Can you see how this is problematic? No-one, of any gender, should feel that they know what is best for someone else’s relationships - it’s not their place to say what the right choice for their crush is, and it’s condescending as fuck to think otherwise.
